For these 2 tasks we first had to create:

1) 3 words that has typography but also shows a graphic identity
2) 11 words that should be connected with a font to show our understanding of typography
Media Studies LR:
WWW: You’re missing one piece of work (photo storyboard) but otherwise an excellent start to Media! Your fruit bowls are stunning and you’re already starting to pick out key details in your film poster analysis.

EBI: Firstly, post your photo storyboard – is it still in drafts? It’s vital you stay on top of the work and meet deadlines. Otherwise, the clear area to develop over the next year is your written Media analysis. Although you’re picking out good points you’ll have to be writing in much more detailed paragraphs that offer a lot more depth of analysis. This means exploring the different possible interpretations that audiences may take from the different conventions of the film poster.

LR: Post the missing work. Then, reflect on your first month of Media. What do you feel is your strongest piece of work so far? What is your weakest? What specific skills or knowledge do you need to develop over the rest of the course?

My first term of media has been great,I feel that my strongest piece of work has been my analysis in general. My weakness is my imagination in Photoshop, a skill I need to work on is my Photoshop skills.

Medium shot/Medium Close Up (MCU): This allows the audience to see his former team get ready to stalk and form a chase for him. This angle allows to see all their facial expressions and emphasise on how determined they are to catch him. The officer on the left is show to be the authoritative person in this shot, their facial expressions indicates that a fight or an action scene is about to take place. They seem to realise here from the way their eye is aligned that the main character(John) was trying to escape from them.

Establishing shot(ES):This shot allows the audience to identify the location. At this shot a crane was used to sweep around and show the action in one shot , the colour used in this shot gives this a gloomy like shot , these colours are usually related to suspense filled action scenes in sci-fi movies.
The audience can identify one silhouette that seems to be in a rush through this alley way indicating to the audience that the chase has started.

This is a medium close up (MCU) , this shot is concentrated on the main characters face and specifically the facial expressions to show how he feels about his team trying to catch and/or how he feels about hurting his colleagues. This shot would also create a personal connection to the character. They would feel sympathy on his friends turning on him.
