Image result for spectre film poster

Film posters: key conventions
  • Central image: The central image shows a bullet with the spectre logo this is effective as it clearly shows a broken glass with a shot through it which would make the audience assume this is action.
  • 'Spectre' is shown ontop of the brand 007 which shows this is a Bond film and clearly makes a statement to attract attention to the audience.
  • There is no tagline since James Bond is such a big franchise.
  • Shoes the release date under the Brand name.
  • There are no names of the stars since 007 is such a big brand the 007 tag speaks for itself.
  • There is no critic views, the audience expect quality as a must for this Brand.
  • No social media needed, advertisement is sorted.
  • Production blurbs are shown next to the release date this would show the quality of the work as the production companies are known for their top movies.
  • The iconography of the brand name on the posted "007" has the number structured as a gun with the end of a gun after the brand name, this clearly relates this to the action/thriller genre.
