Representation: Case study films.

Spectre: The hero, stereo-typically, is a male which is the case of most Hollywood or Western films of the characters being the strong, intelligent and morally well being. Females are represented as damsels, always needing to be rescued which again is stereotypical of Western based action films.

This cultivates an image overtime of women being weak and men being the saviours which is not the case in the true real world context. Britain and London is represented to be filled with first class and mostly white which some minority ethnicity civilians with good morals. Europeans are represented to be villainous and always inflicting pain and conflict. Social class is represented as the first class being split between immoral and good moralled people, usually the lower class is represented to be moral less this does reinforce British stereotype as usually the higher class British are sophisticated and have good morals for their country while lower class or foreigners are usually represented to be with bad morals and inflict conflict as I stated before. Elderly British civilians are represented to be Grand and are usually the CEO of big companies or organisations. e.g M of MI6 in Spectre. This somehow  challenges usual Hollywood stereotypes of Women being insignificant in action films.
